Solid Pine Fluted Bench

The Fluted bench’s design is inspired by Ancient Greek Columns. It’s a decorative type of style, containing elements of Doric and Ionic column styles. Each bench leg is turned using a lathe and traditional tools. Our future depends on the long term availability of wood resources. With that in mind, we use FSC and PEFC certified European pine to make these benches. The design on each bench is carefully considered and made by hand by our team of skilled carpenters.

Design notes – Pine Fluted Bench

We’ve used solid pine to construct this bench. Each bench is 1.5 foot wide, while slightly wider than standard benches, this attribute is there to increase the stability of the bench, as well as adding more room for a person to feel comfortable while sitting.

The bench frame can be painted in any Farrow & Ball colour of your choice as long as that colour is on the current Farrow & Ball chart. This does not include special edition Farrow and Ball colours such as ‘California Collection’. You can also choose to have your bench frame stained in any of our 4 stain colours.

If you would like a colour that we do not offer, such as a Little Greene colour, please contact us as we can do bespoke options.
